Set your holiday calendar so staff who work holidays get paid correctly.

What is this?

This is your list of public holidays for the year. When a staff member works on one of these days, KinDee automatically calculates extra pay based on the multiplier you set (usually 2x or 3x their daily rate).

What problem does it solve?

Without a holiday calendar, staff who work on Songkran or New Year's Day get paid the same as any other day. Your payroll calculations miss the legally required holiday premium.

How to set it up

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Public Holidays
  2. 2Click Add Holiday
  3. 3Enter the date, name (e.g., Songkran Day 1), and the pay multiplier (e.g., 2x)
  4. 4Save — any staff rostered to work this date will get the extra pay on their payroll

Pro tip

Set up the full year's holidays in January. It takes 10 minutes and means payroll is correct for every month without thinking about it again.
