Menus
Control what shows on the POS screen — different menus for different times.
1
What is this?
POS menus define which categories and items appear on the terminal at any given time. You might have a Lunch menu (lighter items, lunch specials), an Evening menu (full selection), and a Happy Hour menu (drinks and bar snacks only). Each menu can use a different price level.
2
What problem does it solve?
Without separate menus, your POS shows everything all the time. Staff scroll through dinner items during lunch. Happy Hour prices have to be applied manually. Menus let you show the right items at the right time.
3
How to set it up
- 1Go to Dashboard → Menus
- 2Click Add Menu
- 3Name it (e.g., 'Lunch Menu'), select which categories to include, and set the display order
- 4Optionally attach a price level (e.g., 'Lunch Prices')
- 5Save — switch to this menu on the POS when it's time

Pro tip
Keep your menus focused. A lunch menu with 20 items sells better than one with 60. Fewer choices means faster ordering and less kitchen chaos.
