What is this?

Staff profiles hold everything about each team member — their name, phone number, role, salary, and POS login PIN. This is the foundation for scheduling, payroll, and access control.

What problem does it solve?

Without staff profiles, you can't create a roster, calculate payroll, or control who can void orders on the POS. Every people-related feature starts here.

How to set it up

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Staff
  2. 2Click Add Staff
  3. 3Enter their name, phone, position, daily salary, and assign a POS PIN
  4. 4Choose their POS role (Cashier, Manager, etc.) and assign them to a location
  5. 5Save — they can now clock in on the POS and appear on the roster

Pro tip

Set up POS PINs as 4-digit codes that are easy for staff to remember but not obvious (avoid 1234 or 0000). Managers get a manager-level PIN that unlocks voids and discounts.
