Weekly Roster
Plan who works when — a visual schedule for the whole team.
1
What is this?
The weekly roster is a staff-by-day grid where you assign shifts. Each cell shows who's working, who's off, and who's on leave. It calculates hours, tracks leave balances, and warns you about scheduling issues.
2
What problem does it solve?
Without a roster, scheduling lives in the manager's head or on a paper printout. Nobody can check from home. Changes aren't tracked. You don't know if you have enough people for Saturday night until Saturday night.

How to set it up
- 1Go to Dashboard → Weekly Roster
- 2Select the week you want to schedule
- 3Click each cell to assign a shift (Morning, Evening, etc.) or a leave type (Day Off, Annual Leave, etc.)
- 4Watch the coverage row at the bottom — it shows how many staff are on at each time of day
- 5Save — staff can now see their schedule

Pro tip
Use Copy Previous Week when your schedule is mostly the same week to week. Then just tweak the differences. It saves 10 minutes of data entry.
