POS Stations

Connect your POS terminals to kitchen printers or KDS screens.

1

What is this?

Stations define the link between your POS terminals and your kitchen displays or printers. When an order is sent from the POS, the station configuration determines which KDS screen or printer it goes to β€” so the right kitchen section gets the right tickets.
2

What problem does it solve?

Without station setup, orders sent from the POS have nowhere to go. Your kitchen doesn't receive tickets. Or worse, every order goes to every station and the pastry section gets burger tickets.

How to set it up

  1. 1Go to Dashboard β†’ POS Stations
  2. 2Click Add Station (e.g., 'Hot Kitchen', 'Bar', 'Pastry')
  3. 3Assign which recipe categories route to this station (e.g., Main Course β†’ Hot Kitchen, Cocktails β†’ Bar)
  4. 4Save β€” orders from the POS now route to the correct kitchen section

Pro tip

If you have a small kitchen with one KDS screen, you only need one station that receives everything. Multi-station routing is for bigger operations with separate kitchen sections.
