Users

Create back-office logins and control who sees what in the Dashboard.

1

What is this?

Users are the people who can log into the Dashboard (the back-office). Each user gets an email login, a role (Admin, Manager, or Staff), and access to specific locations. This is separate from POS logins — POS uses PIN codes.
2

What problem does it solve?

Without user management, everyone shares one login or the owner does everything themselves. You can't give your manager access to the roster without also giving them access to payroll. User roles let you delegate safely.

How to set it up

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Users
  2. 2Click Add User
  3. 3Enter their email, name, and choose a role (Admin sees everything, Manager sees their locations, Staff sees limited data)
  4. 4Assign them to one or more locations
  5. 5Save — they'll receive a login email

Pro tip

Your general manager should be a Manager role, not Admin. Admin is for owners only — it includes financial data, user management, and system-wide settings. Give access on a need-to-know basis.
