KinDee is four purpose-built apps — POS, KDS, Guest Display, and Dashboard — each designed for a different role, all sharing one live data layer.

What it does

  • Point of Sale (POS) — for floor and counter staff: fast order-taking, tables and floor plan, payments, guests, and shifts on any tablet.
  • Kitchen Display (KDS) — for cooks and expo: live order tickets with a clear fire → cooking → ready flow and three layouts (Kanban, Focus, Tape).
  • Guest Display — for guests: a full-screen lobby board showing Preparing / Ready order numbers, driven automatically by the kitchen.
  • Dashboard (back-office) — for owners and managers: inventory, recipes and costing, roster and payroll, expenses, P&L, and deep reports across multiple outlets.
  • The shared platform: one real-time data layer (Supabase) and shared business logic powering every app — a change in one flows through all the others.

FAQ

No — you can start with the POS and Dashboard only and add the KDS and Guest Display when your kitchen is ready. Each app is independent but benefits from the others being connected.
