What happens if the internet is slow?

The KDS and Guest Display fall back to polling (every 30 s and 15 s respectively) automatically, so they stay accurate even without a stable WebSocket. A brief delay is possible on slow connections.

Is there an offline mode?

No. KinDee POS needs an internet connection to operate. Keep a reliable connection at the till, and if your venue's internet is unstable, a simple 4G backup router is the usual fix.

What it does

KDS and Guest Display subscribe to live Supabase real-time events, so ticket and order-status changes appear within seconds of the POS dispatching them.
Polling fallbacks: KDS polls every 30 seconds; Guest Display polls every 15 seconds, so both stay current even if a WebSocket drops.
POS floor plan: tables and orders share the same live database. The floor plan refreshes when you open or navigate to it — it does not push live updates across POS terminals.
Data platform: Supabase (PostgreSQL + real-time) underpins all four apps; a schema change is reflected everywhere immediately.
